Puerto Peñasco Dreaming

Freedom rings

As dusk sings

Its last hoorah

In orange fringe

And big kids dance

Their last sun dance

Around the beach they flit and fly

Like the flight of a butterfly.

A midst wafting sails,

A spread-winged gull wails

While pelicans head back to nest

At day’s end all given their best.

Crimson sun vanishing

Golden moon garnishing

The glowing sky answers all our whys–

Like why we’ve chosen this paradise….
