The passion behind Adopt-a-Classroom is extraordinary, and what has kept it a major asset to K-12 schools in Puerto Penasco for the last 15 years. But Mark and Barb Olszewski are dedicated to helping in all aspects of society where there is need. They are hard to keep up with, but we do, because of their value to the community.

All your money is going to make a bunch of Puerto Peñasco school children able to study more with the right kinds of supplies through the nonprofit organization, Adopt-a-Classroom, which helps thousands of kids in 13 schools, including one school in Port Lobo.
As often happens with trusted charities like Adopt-a-Classroom, there is a literal league of loyal donors who can be counted on every year to play a major part in helping the organization reach, or, in the case of Barb and Mark, exceed their goals. This year, one of their more consistent over-achievers has gathered more donations than they can carry down in their busy schedule. Schools in Mexico start up in August, and thus do the needs for school supplies by the nonprofit charity organization, Adopt-a-Classroom founded in 2003 by Rocky Point residents, Barb and Mark Olszewski.
